At Seward Station we are at the leading edge of fossil fuel technology. Using CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed) combustors. We burn waste coal and convert it into usable gypsum.  The process is ultra low emission producing 525 megawatts of electricity. The gypsum is later used to fill abandoned coal mines.

Knowing that dissolved oxygen is to a minimum in our boilers is crucial to the operation of Seward Station. We have two Waltron DO analyzers (9061C) installed. All I can say about the Waltron DO analyzers is that they work. We have had these analyzers installed for over a year and they have functioned and calibrated perfectly during this time. They are compact and work well. I would definitely recommend these units.
