Hydrazine Analyzer

THIS PRODUCT IS DISCONTINUED and has been replaced with our NEW Hydrazine Analyzer Aqualyzer® 9071 and the compact version 9071C.

The Waltron µAI Series 9070 Hydrazine Analyzer is a microprocessor-based instrument specifically developed for use in continuous measurement of residual Hydrazine levels in boiler feedwater.

µAI 9070 Sensor Unit
During calibration the 3,way valve is activated, a standard of known hydrazine concentration passesthrough a heat exchanger to equilibriate the solution's temperature to that of the sample. The standard then enters the constant head unit where flow is stabilized. Alkaline buffer vapor is added via a vapor entrainment mechanism before the standard enters the hydrazine cell and flows to drain. During normal operating conditions tile standard solution is replaced by the sample.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
Performance
Range   0-100 ppb and 0-1000 ppb with automatic range change and two sets of normally open contacts, one of which closes for remote range indication.
Accuracy   ± 5% of reading or ± 2 ppb, whichever is greater for concentrations up to 500 ppb. Less
than 10% for concentrations above 500 ppb.
Stability   ± 5% of reading or ± 2 ppb per week, whichever is greater.
Response Time   90% of a step change in less than 3 minutes.
Temperature Compensation   Automatic. Reduces sample temperature error to less than 0.5% of reading per degree C.

  Buffer continuously induced into sample flow - Ammonium Hydroxide 0.88 SG (35% WN)
Calibration   Automatic sequence, manually initiated by operator every one to four weeks.
Outputs   Two isolated outputs - switch selectable, 0-10 mA, 0-20 mA or 4-20 mAdc, 1000 ohms maximum.
Alarms   Two voltage-free contacts. Alarm points set transmitter rated at 250V tamp, non-inductive.
