Waltron Introduces a Gel Filled Reference Probe for its On-line Water Sodium Analyzers 9031 and 9031C

Waltron, L.L.C., a leading producer of quality on-line water instrumentation, is pleased to announce the introduction of its new Gel-Filled Sodium Reference Probe.

Through the introduction of this gel-filled sodium reference probe, Waltron is again confirming its strong tradition of aggressive new product development and ongoing listening to customers. The Waltron 9031 sodium analyzer which already comes with total full automatic calibration and was already by far the most maintenance-free and user -friendly sodium analyzer available today is now going one step even further as there is no need anymore for the user to replace refill solution on a regular basis in the reference probe.

William Harrop, Waltron’s Product Development Manager who spearheaded the development efforts says: "We answered the challenge poised by our customers to make the all-ready user friendly 9031 Sodium Analyzer even easier to maintain. The gel-filled reference probe is a cutting edge technology which falls in line with Waltron passion for being a leader in the realm of product development. The gel-filled reference probe differs from the traditional reference refillable probe in that periodic refilling of electrolyte is no longer needed. The gel used in the new reference probe has been designed to give fast and accurate response throughout the range of sodium analysis. The gel also helps avoid crystallization problems which can sometimes hinder the performance of the traditional refillable probe.

Waltron offers a wide range of instrumentation for ultra pure and other industrial & municipal water chemistry applications. With over a century of experience in water chemistry, Waltron is committed to providing its customers with world class products and service. All Waltron instruments will continue to be manufactured at Waltron’s current facilities.

In 2003, Waltron celebrated its 100th anniversary as one of the world's oldest, most experienced water chemistry companies. Waltron started in 1903 with chemists who introduced drinking water chlorination to a range of clients before the first city-wide chlorination system in the US was installed. Since then Waltron has been at the forefront of many technical innovations. Waltron (www.waltron.net) is today a major supplier of dissolved oxygen, sodium, ammonia, copper, hydrazine, nitrate, oil in water, phosphate, silica and ethylene glycol on-line water quality analyzers.
