Their eyes see not one light of bright stars

Men’s past ways are shaded by their shame
古舊的跡 便滿布羞恥的蔭蔽
Paeans are but admiration’s mirror half
明鏡不映詩歌 盲目高呼禮贊
Tides run in blind by their ever-be routine
千百萬潮水 皆遵循潮汐奔流
Staining that Heaven with obscene calamity
以褻瀆不潔的姿態(tài) 玷污天幕
When folly wrecks wit
以荒蠻禍亂的行跡 吞沒學(xué)識
Where do stand we
那牧鞭與其謙卑羔羊
Before a cruel whip
算得什么？
Man who man would be
人 要想成為人
Of hopes and fears being himself alone
